Service Schedule Changes
10/27/2020

God is truly at work during these difficult times. The Spirit is working in our church as guests continue to come and young families are joining and people are being baptized. We are also sending men out to preach and teach the theological fundamentals revealed to us in God's Word, the Bible. Praise His name.

10/27/2020 Ohio Women's Mission

This past Saturday, October 24, Boardman Baptist Church was blessed to have hosted the annual meeting of the Bethany Ladies Fellowship. Missionaries to Portugal, Jennifer Allison and her daughter Morgan were the guest speakers. Fun, food, and fellowship was enjoyed by all. The Ohio Women's Mission state project this year has set a goal of $15,000 to be split evenly between our three camps, Camp Patmos, Skyview Ranch, and Scioto Hills. Cash and checks made payable to Boardman Baptist Church and designated for this purpose will be received until March 31, 2021 even though the women's mission has extended the window to give until 2022 because of the coronavirus.

10/27/2020 Vickie Truett

Vickie Truett will be performing during the evening service on Sunday November 8.

WHY DO I SING?
Because the Lord has given me the gift of touching the hearts of others through music. Using spoken testimony, insightful lyrics and Biblical principles I reach out to those who hurt.
I graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute where I was part of two national tours with the "Collegians" and recorded the album "Let Freedom Ring."
I have been compelled to sharpen my ministry with a focus on helping those who are suffering. Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the unsaved and encouraging believers in their daily walk with the Lord.
Seeing the overwhelming need in today's church, my mission is to "encourage them in heart, unite them in love... that they may see Christ."
I sincerely believe that because of the seasoning with grace I have experienced in my own life, the Lord uses my music as a source of encouragement to the believer and as a magnet to draw those with no knowledge of the Lord to His saving grace.
After years of sharing original songs I now have six recordings including "Hymns to Him," released in 2018. We released my first two music videos, "Tears in a Bottle" and "There Is Prayer" in 2017. My book, Tears in a Bottle - A Journey through Grief, was released in 2019, and my next album, "At Your Feet," is scheduled to be released in early 2020.
